BIM Specialist
JDR has an immediate opening for a BIM Specialist, responsible for AutoCAD and Revit/BIM development of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems plans. In this role, you will provide on-going user support and training, creation and development of design documents, as well as project integration of BIM services across multiple projects and disciplines. The successful candidates will have opportunities to grow and expand their BIM/Drafting capabilities within the company, possibly leading to design roles. A qualified candidate will have the following background and skills:
Education and Experience:
- An associates degree in a related field (i.e. Architectural or Engineering Technology)
- 3+ years experience
- Experience with or proficient in the current versions of Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Building Information Modeling technology, & Navisworks
- Experience with or proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel)
- Experience with reading building floor plans, schematics, details, and schedules
- Familiarity with HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical systems
Skills:
- Drafting and BIM modeling to produce Construction Documents from provided markups
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on project objectives
- Effective working individually and within team environments
- Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects with competing deadlines
Administrative Marketing Coordinator
As our Marketing Lead, you will develop and maintain marketing media and materials to drive brand awareness and workplace culture. In this role, you will organize and oversee administrative operations to ensure efficient day-to-day and long-term business functions. You will serve as a key point of contact between management, team members, clients, and vendors.
To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to create and write technical content across multiple media platforms, and the capability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. This individual is results-driven, demonstrates exceptional follow-up and organizational skills, and consistently takes initiative to ensure projects and objectives are completed accurately and on schedule. The successful candidate will be proactive, accountable, and committed to maintaining a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality in all aspects of their work.
Previous marketing, communications, or administrative experience within the engineering, architecture, or construction industry is a plus.
