Revit/BIM Technician
JDR has an immediate opening for a Revit/BIM Technician, responsible for AutoCAD and Revit/BIM development of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems plans. A well-qualified candidate will have knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, be a team player with good communication skills. The successful candidate will have opportunities to grow and expand their BIM/Drafting capabilities within the company, possibly leading to design roles.
Education:
- Associates degree – BIM/Revit Technician, Architectural or Engineering Technology
- 1-3 years’ experience
Responsibilities:
- Experience with or proficient at Revit, AutoCAD & Navisworks
- Experience with or proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel)
- Experience with reading building floor plans, schematics, details, and schedules
- Drafting and BIM modeling to produce Construction Documents from provided markups
- Familiarity with HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical systems
- Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects with competing deadlines
- Works directly with and takes direction from the project team and BIM Manager.
